We currently have openings for the following positions:
Position: Computer/Network Technician
Responsibilities: Technician to provide hardware and first level
software support for Windows XP/Vista/7 PCs in Various Windows 2003/2008
server environments. Technician will be responsible to install,
configure, and troubleshoot computers and peripherals to include: System
Boards, Power Supplies, Displays, etc. Will also configure laptops, with
peripherals, to include installation of Windows XP Pro/Vista Business/7
Business and various other applications. Responsible to install and
maintain network printers of various manufacturers and provide basic user
support in resolving common Windows XP/Vista/7, software, and printing
problems. Will complete administrative tasks required for the purchasing,
receiving, and servicing of computer equipment and resolve trouble calls
and complete work orders within the predefined service level standards.
Requirements:
- One to two years professional computer support experience.
- Strong hardware knowledge to include computers, laptops, and
printers.
- Experience with Windows XP/Vista/7, Office 2003/2007, and knowledge of
basic software packages a plus.
- Familiarity with Windows 2003/2008 or NetWare network environment a
plus.
- Strong customer service skills mandatory.
- Ability to work independently.
